This was my first attempt at kimchi! I borrowed some of the recipe from http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Quick-Kimchi-351892. I didn't use the Asian Pear since I couldn't find any so I used a tablespoon of sugar instead. I also used apple cider vinegar instead of white distilled. I also added some cayenne and cajun seasoning. I was also out of ginger, which I'm really disappointed in myself about, but I was already mixing so I didn't add that either.
Why? I've been watching Smile, Donghae on HuluPlus and every time they mention how good the Kimchi is, my stomach rumbles.
I'll keep you all updated on how it actually tastes after a few days. If I can wait that long.
